I’m Charli! An Exercise Physiologist, strength & conditioning coach, and the founder of CMF Strength. My coaching philosophy is simple: exercise should make you feel stronger, more capable and more confident in your body — not like you’re being punished for having one. With a background in exercise physiology and a strong passion for running-specific strength and conditioning, I take an evidence-informed approach to coaching while keeping the experience practical, approachable and genuinely enjoyable. I work with people across different training backgrounds and abilities, helping them build strength, move with confidence and understand why they’re doing what they’re doing. My coaching style is supportive, encouraging and individualised. I’m big on education and empowering people to understand their bodies, rather than simply telling them what to do. I want my experince-ee's to leave a session feeling like they’ve learnt something, challenged themselves and, most importantly, had a bloody good time doing it. Whether the goal is getting stronger in the gym, becoming a more resilient runner, improving performance, building confidence with movement or simply finding a form of exercise that actually fits into real life, I believe there’s no one-size-fits-all approach. Strong bodies. Capable minds. Better movement. And a whole lot of good energy along the way.

Charlie was fantastic, she was able to cater to my sore shoulder and did a great session.

Expect a purposeful 60 minutes of strength and conditioning, technique coaching, progressive loading, plenty of education and a whole lot of encouragement along the way! I’ll explain the why behind what we’re doing, help you understand your body and give you the tools to feel confident training both with me and on your own! Whether you’re completely new to strength training, looking to build confidence in the gym, chasing a performance goal or wanting to become a stronger, more resilient runner — we’ll meet you where you’re at and build from there. Come as you are, I’ll take care of the rest! (But for extra comfort and good times, please bring teh following): - A water bottle - Comfortable training gear + shoes - Anything I should know about ( if you have relevant medical history, previous exercise programs or information from your physio/allied health team, feel free to bring it along) - A little fuel in the tank (where possible, try not to arrive completely under-fuelled. We want you feeling ready to move!) - An open mind - Yourself! Show up exactly where you’re at that day and we’ll work from there!
